5. Use of Artificial Intelligence
What we use AI for. We use AI-assisted tools to support our business operations, including research, writing, editing, translation, customer support, administration, order handling, withdrawal and refund handling, marketing, website content, coding and app development, transcription, video editing, and internal workflow.
Human oversight. All content published under the Flower of Sound name is reviewed by a person before publication. We hold editorial responsibility for everything we publish.
No automated decision-making. AI tools assist our work. We do not use AI to make final decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you without human review. This includes decisions about refunds, cancellations, withdrawal requests, complaints, customer rights and account restrictions. We do not use profiling to make such decisions. Decisions about customers, applicants and partners are made by people.
Your personal data and AI. Where necessary for the purposes above, we may process limited personal data with approved AI tools – for example names, contact details, order context, customer messages or support requests. We aim to use only approved paid, professional or business AI tools where customer inputs and outputs are not used to train public or general AI models by default, or where such training has been disabled. We do not enter sensitive personal data, payment details, passwords or identification documents into AI tools. Where AI tools process personal data on our behalf, we rely on an appropriate legal basis – performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent where required, or compliance with a legal obligation – and apply appropriate safeguards.
AI-generated content. Where we publish audio, images or video that has been generated or substantially altered by AI in a way that could be mistaken for a real recording, person or place, we label it as such. Our field recordings are real recordings of real places.
Automated messages. Where you interact with an automated system this is made clear at the point of interaction.
