What’s Flower of Sound?
Sound Felt Different
Founded by sound artist Claudio Vittori and creative publisher Elise de Bres,
Flower of Sound explores how sound shapes emotion pushing the boundaries of auditory perception through evolving technologies.
Sharing the Vision
Flower of Sound is a production studio creating immersive audio experiences that expand the perception of sound.
Using cutting-edge technology, from natively 3D audio to content developed in extended reality XR and original IoT software, we design Sonic Tools: original sound-based experiences that turn listening into a space for well-being and deeper connection.
These tools are made for individual listening, group sessions, live events, or integration into physical spaces.
Collaborations with universities, museums, festivals, and cultural platforms, along with the input of international research networks and music tech accelerators, keep our work evolving across formats and immersive technologies.
The name comes from the geometric patterns that sound can generate, a phenomenon known as Cymatics.
A glimpse into the invisible world of sound made visible.

Insights from the founders
Â
In 2014, I had the opportunity to compose a piece for a Wave Field Synthesis (WFS) immersive audio system at the G. Pollini Theatre in Padua, Italy.
At the time, I had little experience with spatialized audio, but that moment proved to be a turning point in my career. From then on, my perception of sound changed radically.
I immersed myself in the study and exploration of immersive audio, navigating through inevitable challenges but never losing the drive to master the tools and technologies capable of shaping spatialized sound experiences.
Convinced that the moment was right for an ambitious project, I founded Flower of Sound to develop a catalog of immersive audio experiences designed to engage different emotional states.
My work expanded into creating audio content for VR and AR, developing IoT software for immersive rooms, and managing multi-platform projects. This led to the formation of Machine Jockey, a collective of digital creatives now an integral part of Flower of Sound.
This journey profoundly shaped my artistic approach. I took a long break from composing to study neuroscience and ethnomusicology, exploring how sound has been used throughout history as a fundamental tool for both individual and collective well-being.
Only recently have I returned to composition, now with a renewed vision and purpose.
Flower of Sound has naturally become the ideal platform for an ever-growing catalog, offering unconventional listening experiences that expand auditory perception.
This project is not only a reflection of my personal path but a way to challenge and redefine how we experience sound and its impact on consciousness.
Â
My journey with Flower of Sound began with a curiosity that has guided me through every step of my career.
I’ve always been drawn to explore the stories and knowledge that lie beneath the surface of our everyday experiences.
This has shaped my work as a publisher and entrepreneur, where I’ve found fulfilment in challenging assumptions,  to new ways of thinking, and embracing the unconventional.
Yet, sound has opened a new dimension for me—a world that is both immediate and mysterious.
The discovery of how sound can shape our emotions, influence our environments, and even guide us toward deeper self-awareness, inspired me to dive fully into this new world.Â
At Flower of Sound, our mission is to bring sound into focus—not just as something we hear, but as a transformative force and to shift our perceptions and influence our well-being.
This project is a natural continuation of my journey, merging creativity, technology, business and wellness to push the boundaries of how we experience and connect with the world.
